in the last weekIt is a great ride to get there, especially if you are not from around there! Lovely people, really kind and helpful, a great way to spend a few hours and get some unique keepsakes, definitely a go too when your in the area. Bring water, sunscreen and a hat. They do sell drinks, gloves and safety glasses there as well.

2 weeks agoI had a great time at the fossil dig! Super fun and unique activity and the on-hand staff were super helpful in getting you set up/helping to polish up some trilobites. I was a little worried about the dirt road since I’m in a Sudan, but it was perfectly fine, that road is so level I don’t think any car would have any problems with it

2 weeks agoMy boyfriend and I drove about 4 hours both ways to get here, and it was worth it. I am obsessed with trilobites so I knew this was something I needed to do! The man working there is so kind and very helpful. He showed us good spots to break away at the shale, and we came back with so many trilobites that he cut down for us. He teaches you all about the different kinds of trilobites you can find, and what techniques are best for searching. I left with so many fossils that I gave some away to friends who probably have no idea what they are lol. Love this place I want to go back!
