3 months agoI’ve spent the last 8 years on Duolingo and Babbel, but I eventually hit a plateau and got bored with the repetitive app routine. I wanted to start actually speaking Spanish, so I began looking for 1-on-1 tutors. I found Spanish55 almost by accident on YouTube while searching for a specific grammar topic, and I’m so glad I did. I’ve tried private tutors before, but they often felt like "people who happen to speak Spanish" rather than trained educators. The experience with Spanish55 is completely different. I work with my instructor, Coach Esther, 3-times per week and she is a true professional. She doesn't just correct my grammar; she provides incredible cultural insights into Mexico that keep me inspired and curious. 3 months agoI can’t praise Spanish55 and my tutor enough. I ABSOLUTELY love my lessons with Fran who is my instructor and whom I consider a friend! She is always there and on time and fun to work with; I look forward to every lesson. I NEVER feel embarrassed for the pace - slow - that I need to learn. She and the company are wonderful! The price is - I think - reasonable and worth every penny. They are very fair and have always been willing to reschedule lessons regardless of the circumstances. Of the many options they provide, I will sign up for another 50 lessons package and I look forward to doing so.

3 months agoMy Spanish Coach Sophia was excellent - very patient, helped reinforce the correct grammar and pronunciation and did this all in a fun way. Gives me a lot of confidence in going from a "beginner" to a "fluent speaker" in Española.
