2 months agoDuring the last week of November I submitted a form via OC Lingual Institute's website, for a free language assessment for French classes. About a week later (give or take) I finally received a phone call from them, but unfortunately I missed the call due to work, so I called them back the next day. I called back multiple times during regular business hours, but no answer. Finally, I left a voice message asking to be called back, and also suggested they may email me if that was a convenient way as well to set up the assessment (the form I submitted had my email and I also left it on the voicemail). This was December 2nd when I left the voicemail. It is now December 13 and I have not heard from them at all. Super disappointing.

4 months agoI'm just getting ready to start my 3rd 8-week Italian session with Maria Oliveri Minney. The homework is very manageable, and I enjoy the combination of reading/writing/speaking opportunities. I will be going back to Sicily for the first time since starting this class so I'm sure I will need to use the translation app much less. After our class last week, Maria and I decided a few extra things I could do in order to prepare for my trip in a more strategic way.
