3 months agoI recently had my 70 person wedding at the Lytle House and I could not recommend this venue enough! Michelle and Robyn, are so great to work with. They created the most beautiful and intimate space. I was at ease through the entire planning process thanks to them. Our guests could not stop raving about the venue! Such a great experience working with The Lytle House - wish I could repeat the day!

4 months agoI've been to 2 events here. The first was a wedding announcement, years and years ago. I remember that there were tasty food trucks on site and the bar and staff were great. It was the right service for the event. Sept 2025, I attended a wedding here. It was an excellent experience. The Lytle House has a variety of service options. You step through the metal gate and you find yourself in a hidden venue. The hustle and bustle of Uptown fades away. As more friends and family arrive, the staff circulates with hors d’oeuvres and the bar is open. The staff is skilled, organized and friendly. We're asked to sit for dinner. The food was prepared onsite and I was completely impressed with every bite...it was incredible! Every element of the evening was done exceptionally well and contributed to a great evening. If you are planning an evening on the north side of Chicago in the Uptown neighborhood, put this on your list of venues to explore.

5 months agoThe Lytle House was the perfect venue for our summer wedding. The owners, Michelle and Robyn, stood out from the rest from day one. They got to know us and helped guide us through the entire process. Our goal was to keep things fairly simple, but high-quality. They took our general ideas and helped craft the perfect atmosphere for our wedding reception. The day of the wedding reception, Michelle knocked it out of the park getting the flowers, photos, sound system, and other decorations all set up. We also hired Michelle to handle our photography and she did a phenomenal job with that, as well. It was a blast watching our guests walk in and say, "Wow... this place is incredible! I had no idea this was here!" The Lytle House really is a special hideaway in the city, and we'll be recommending it to friends and family every chance we get. - Vanessa and Matt
