Beautiful place, NH is unique. Not a nanny state type place, signs say "swim at own risk" rather than "no swimming". Seriously though, water was rough looking when we went there so you're on your own as to whether to swim there or not. Trails allow for both short and long hikes. But use a GPS or trail tracking app as trails were not too easy to follow.
