in the last weekAbsolutely beautiful scenery with a well kept trail system. Fabulous! The ravine trail and loop through and around the main basin has some challenging areas but is manageable for most outgoung adults and children.

2 months agoFrom the trailhead, it's over ten minutes on Kendall Trail to the rock. The rock 🪨, which I didn't smell anything cooking on, is part of a ravine. "The Pulpit" itself is the giant glacial rock. Depending on the water levels, there could be a waterfall. The trail to get to the bottom of the ravine is a little difficult. I was able to get to the ravine but I wasn't able to explore the entire area. It was a pleasant surprise visiting Pulpit Rock. The information ℹ️ posted at the site was really helpful. There is a safety rope along the top 🔝. Update: March 2026; The trail to the ravine is buried under snow ❄️. You can still visit the top. There is a little stream from the melting snow 🌨️ heading towards "the Pulpit". I recommend a visit.

6 months agoPretty good hike. Be careful in the fall with the leaves as they make the terrain a bit slippery
