a week agoThis park is outstanding.any trails, huge area. The falls is beautiful but kind of a climb. The stairs are very manageable, and you don't have to go all the way down to see the falls. Lots of resting spaces for the climb back out. Definitely a place to see.

a week agoWe’ve stayed at Blackwater Falls Lodge and the cabins several times and have always had excellent experiences. Most recently, we stayed in the lodge in January before a trip to White Grass Ski Touring Center for cross-country skiing (highly recommend!). After we got home, I realized I had accidentally left my Kindle in the room. When I called, the staff was incredibly friendly and understanding—they had already found it, secured it safely, and promptly mailed it back to me. It’s one thing to have a great stay, but the level of care and honesty the staff showed really stood out. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend staying here.
