4 months agoParking sucks but the hike has beautiful views and despite there being a lot of people it isn’t too crowded during the hike. Surprise lake is absolutely beautiful. Definitely a challenging hike and very steep, but very rewarding. We saw a few Marmots and some deer along the way.

5 months agoDid the Delta Lake trail. Found out later that it is not an official trail, so maintenance is zero, and danger is not zero (bouldering sections, slippery steep sections). The view at the top made it all worth it.
