Great! Approximately 7.5km hike in total at the moment since the right shorter part of the loop is closed due to construction and you have to take the longer left trail both ways (Oct 4th). Trail is easy to moderate (some up and downhill sections but on a solid path - lots of families and people of all ages. Took a swim in cold lake and enjoyed the view on the Tetons. Wouldn’t recommend on hot summer days though since main distance of the steep part is in full sunlight. As usual: bring bear spray especially when hiking very early or very late, take your trash back with you and respect this beautiful nature. Also lots of moose in the area :)
Just hiked this trail yesterday and it was Amazing!!! Wear good shoes and bring your water. The climb was very rocky first than opens up to the gorgeous lake!
