in the last weekI had the goulash. It was very meaty in a tomato sauce base. The menu calls it a "hearty beef stew" and I thought that would include vegetables. I've not had goulash before so maybe that was my mistake. It was kind of mono-flavor to me, but it was hearty and filling. My wife had a chicken panini. She felt it was kind of bland. She did appreciate that it had olives on it. Overall, an ok experience but I doubt we would return.

2 weeks agoReally enjoyed this place tonight. Our waiter was so great with our 3 year old son, engaged him every time he came by the table. Probably the first time I have experienced someone taking that much time to make a small child feel like a guest and include them in the dining experience. All waitstaff is nice to him whenever we go out but this guy took it to another level. A man that really loves kids. Edited to add this because it was nice and didn’t want to leave it off: they don’t have a kids menu (which is perfectly fine) so our waiter highlighted a few items that are more kid friendly and offered to make any accommodations on those to help. My wife told him he would just eat off her plate (which we normally do) and he didn’t just bring an extra plate for our son but asked the kitchen to put a portion of her meal on a separate plate so our son got his own meal brought to him. That was one of the most thoughtful things I have ever seen at a restaurant. He was also was a great waiter on top of that, attentive, offering quick suggestions and guidance since we told him it was our first time there. Highlighting some notable items on the menu. Really, really great. Food was great. We got the liver paté, house made brats, and fish and frites. All phenomenal, will definitely be coming back to explore more items. Draft menu was concise Czech pilsner, local Amber and IPA, a stout, and a couple others. I appreciated that while not a long list it was diverse. I hate going to place that have 10 beers on draft and 7 are IPAs and no stouts. Plenty of additional options in bottles and cans. Portions were great. Again, our waiter was probably one of the best I have ever had.
