in the last weekNight and Day Cafe never disappoints! I’ve been coming here for years, and was looking forward to going on my return to Coronado for the first time in a while. Sat at an open table outside before 9am on a weekday, but it got busy around nine. Delicious food and huge portions. Only downside was the service. One waitress was working and was overwhelmed with two tables outside and people at the counter. More servers showed up at the top of the hour, but my food came only warm and I didn’t get any coffee until after my food had arrived. Food was still delicious. Would still 100% recommend. Just maybe sit inside next time.

in the last weekThis restaurant makes me want to get more education so I can get a more lucrative job so I can relocate within walking distance of it (I live out of state). Sitting at the counter where my feet can’t touch the ground made me feel like my problems can’t reach me. Watching my food being made is the most fun game of “what are they going to do next”? Every bite made me say “mmmsogood” with my mouth full. I don’t think the proprietors intended it, but this was a whimsical experience for me. Weird? My taste buds are too busy to care. Refueling my car to drive back for dinner. Please eat here.
