a week agoI stopped this evening for the special, 1lb fried shrimp + 2 sides for $16.95. The server, Halle, was very kind, polite, and efficient. The shrimp was tasty, lightly breaded, with just a dusting and not dipped in a heavy batter. I chose one of the premium sides, fried okra, which added $2.95 and they were perfect. I also enjoyed the red beans and rice. I always love eating at Jewel City and tonight was no exception.
