a week agoCame here for dinner after a day of fishing while on vacation. The food was excellent. I had Grilled Walleye with Brussel Sprouts and a Caesar Salad to start. The fish was perfectly cooked and the Brussel Sprouts may have been the best I have ever had. My wife enjoyed the BLTA and our fellow vacationers enjoyed a Salmon BLT and Bison Rigatoni. All enjoyed their meal and the sauce for the rigatoni had to have been excellent because the serving bowl was out of the dishwasher clean when the meal was over! Awesome food! Highly recommend!

a week agoFirst, our server Sabrina was a gem. She was kind, attentive, and overall a great server. The food was good - we had the duck bacon wantons, cheeseburger, and a steak sandwich. Burger was cooked correctly, and everything tasted great. My gripe, and reason for poor rating otherwise, was the bartender. We ordered drinks first thing, and by the time we ordered everything else they still hadn’t come. Understandable on a busy night, but there were 4 tables in the whole place at the time. We watched her take a personal call, eat, and kinda just bebop around until our server had to ask for our drinks. And even then, zero sense of urgency when she realized we’d been waiting 25 minutes at that point. Also fairly certain she didn’t wash her hands after eating and taking the call… yuck. It was just frustrating to witness. Our server comped a drink for the wait, which was totally unnecessary but appreciated. We would have gladly paid for everything, and even ordered a second round, but the bartender just couldn’t be bothered to do much but chat with the bar patrons and snack. From a former service manager, my advice would be to get her off the bar unless she’s with someone who can keep her focused. And to maybe review some proper service hygiene material.
