I've known Joanna for over 20 years, which is a decent time frame for a long-term review... Over those two decades, she has never failed to inspire, both in her own work and her teaching. I readily admit to a little bias here, as, in that time, I have also come to count on her as a friend. But then, perhaps that is the whole point. When it comes to Joanna, artist and person are inseparable. What you see is what you get. And what you get is the genuine article. Someone who is thoughtful, dependable, caring and creative. In an all-too-often monochrome world, she is a splash of colour that changes our perspective.

My kids have done art classes for years with Joanna and she's by far the best teacher. She's full of enthusiasm and helps each student reach their potential by encouraging them to think outside the box and let their creativity flow. Even people who think they don't have an artistic bone in their body end up framing their own works of art! We have three beautiful paintings from Joanna in our house and one sculpture tailor made for us. I would recommend her hands down for art classes and for her stunning portraits that look astonishingly real. We love her work and can't recommend her highly enough for her classes and for her own artistic creations. Great energy and positivity around art!!! ❤️
