To Matty, Alec and Taylor - Folks I have met with all of you and have written/ discussed/ texted with you over hours. You all agreed that my gym membership was incorrectly cancelled in 2024 and I have been charged over 16 MONTHS WITHOUT AN INVOICE (>$1200 in total). I even considered a lower settlement amount since you all pleaded about being a non-corporate, SMB gym. But now you all have now taken to hiding, screening my calls and avoiding payment rather than be a professional outfit. I am extremely disappointed with this behavior and the standards you set. Folks - for anyone considering TWR please note that their cancellation policy is a bit of a joke and resolution processes for incorrect billing and cancellations are basically treated as an exercise to induce fatigue. I have been to the gym in person multiple times to speak to ALL their partners and they decide to rip me off after leading me around in circles since 5 months now. The Weight Room is a great little package for anyone interested in pursuing their fitness goals in a homestyle gym. The gym is cozy, with all of the essential equipment and materials as well as some space for individual mat practice. The plants, inspirational quotes, good natural lighting and light crowd provided the motivation I needed to keep going back. There was usually always equipment available, and fellow gym members were helpful (typically only about 2-5 people in the gym at the same time as me). The staff is exceptional, they truly care about your fitness and your personal goals. Their passion towards running a small business is evident. From what I have seen, the suite of trainers also seem quite capable and friendly, and I found my introductory training appointment very helpful. Definitely recommend TWR to anyone considering this unique gym experience.

The Weight Room is a small but mighty gym in Redwood City. It's available 24/7 to members, never too crowded and has a lot of squat racks and equipment. Matty, the owner, is a super friendly and welcoming.

The new secret spot in Redwood City isn’t a restaurant or a new cafe, it’s this gym! Clean, well equipped, 24/7 hours, and owners that are personable and helpful. As much as I don’t want to see this place overpacked, a place this good deserves to be successful. Be prepared to be faithful!

Open 24 hours, convenient location, and I've never had to wait for a squat rack
