a month agoI manage a youth hockey team and we booked rooms at this property in August 2025 for a stay in January 2026, through the tournament company. This means the hotel contracted with the tournament company to provide us rooms. The hotel called us the morning of our team's arrival (driving five plus hours) and informed us we were being moved to a hotel an hour away. This was unacceptable, unprofessional, and they had not even informed the tournament about this - they just started calling each family individually. They ultimately admitted that they did not have enough rooms because their construction project was not as far along as they had hoped. To displace a travelling team the day of forced us to all stay in different places and ruined the entire experience of travelling for a tournament.
