8 months agoDid NOT have a great experience. And it’s a shame because I actually enjoyed 1134 until this incident. I don’t know if the bouncer had a bad day or what. But I had tripped on the stairs so the bouncer kicked me out because he thought I wasted, and I admit I was tipsy, but I wasn’t drunk— I had two drinks; and I’m also just simply clumsy by nature. I wasn’t belligerent nor was I making a scene, I just tripped and fell, and I don’t think anyone even noticed besides him— so I didn’t understand how that was grounds for being kicked out. He grabbed me and told me I needed to leave and kept pushing me out the door. I told him that I had left my purse with my friends and he was mad at me for whatever reason and he wouldn’t let me back inside to get my purse. I guess he thought I was just using it as an excuse to get back inside, so I told him that he could even escort me back to my friend and then I would leave. He wouldn’t even do that. He fought and fought with me, and I told him that my ID and cards were in the purse, and that I wasn’t leaving until I got my purse. After about 7 minutes of me arguing with him and him ignoring me, he reluctantly agreed to follow me back to my friends, got my stuff and left. Honestly, did he think I was just going to listen to him and leave without my stuff??? I truly don’t understand what his deal was. His tantrum of kicking me out caused more of a scene than me falling on the stairs.
