2 months agoGreat store at Apple hill. As I know this is the famous one. To get here is a challenge as traffic is very bad. Queue start form freeway. There is alternate exit from I50 west which we can use to avoid the major traffic. Since it is Halloween month, it has pumpkin patch which is nice. The queue for food and pie are very long. The fruits are fresh and cheap. You can buy cooked pie, uncooked pie, apple cider, jam, fresh fruit etc.

4 weeks agoLocated on Apple Hill, Boa Vista Orchards began in the early 1900s as a potato farm. Today, it has expanded to include a wide variety of produce and more! They offer a market, a bakery, a vineyard, and a deli, among other attractions. When we visited Boa Vista Orchards, we arrived too late for lunch, but I had a hard time leaving the market without buying everything in sight! I ended up purchasing a couple of boxes filled with farm goods and have been happily cooking delicious meals with them since. Once you try fresh farm food, you'll notice a significant difference in richness and taste compared to supermarket products. If you're planning a visit, I highly recommend trying their ciders. They have a cider tasting counter where I experienced pomegranate cider for the first time, and I absolutely loved it! it!

4 days agoOur first time here was an experience. We had no idea it was the 1st day of fresh cut christmas tree sales. We simply went to try the cider and donuts. There were lines for everything. A line to buy freshly grilled food and then another very, very long, very slow line to wait for your food to be cooked, that total experience was an hour and not well organized at all. Another line to buy donuts and hot cider, then the regular line to buy cold cider and the long line to park. It's located in a beautiful area and despite the madness of long , never ending lines, the cider was delicious, both hot and cold glazed and sugar cider donuts were the best to us. Peanut brittle was lovely amongst other items we purchased, and the concept of annual family tradition to cut your tree down the day after Thanksgiving was seen and felt.

2 months agoA great place to get fresh produce at a good price. I got quality pumpkins as well and they have a lot of kitchen ingredients and baked goods. Parking is limited and it gets very busy on the weekends during September and October.

6 months agoI had the most amazing drive today, just cruising around to clear my mind and take in the scenery. And guess what? I happened upon Boa Vista Orchards! It's this adorable little spot nestled on the side of a picturesque hill. It totally gave me old-school farmer's market vibes, but with a modern twist. They've got everything from trinkets to jams, jellies, juices, and wines galore! Plus, they fire up the BBQ and whip up the most delicious pies and pastries. The whole place just oozes charm and good vibes. Everyone there was having a blast, and the weather was just perfect. And can we talk about how fresh everything is? They even freeze stuff the same day to keep it top-notch. If you're ever in the area, you've gotta swing by Boa Vista Orchards for some tasty treats and stunning views! Trust me, you won't regret it!
