We went for my fiancé’s birthday. We chose this restaurant because of all of the atmosphere, the wonderful reviews and because of the oysters. The server didn’t even ask if we were celebrating anything which I guess we could’ve said something. But I was a little upset when she asked the table next to us that question and not us throughout our entire meal. She was otherwise very nice. The oysters were a 6 at best. And we sat between two large parties of like 10+ men. So that kind of ruined the atmosphere. Otherwise the steak and lamb chops were perfect and the bread was the best part. I probably wouldn’t come back for a special occasion. Maybe to sit at the bar and eat bread and grab cocktail. All of the large parties at the same time made it really busy and it really wasn’t intimate. That wasn’t what we expected. I expected a more intimate atmosphere accompanied by delicious food and a server who holds conversation.

Butcher and singer is always a great stop for consistence good and service, however my most recent experience was outstanding, from the moment I was met at the host stand. All the employees were professional, warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxing, sophisticated, and classy. The is incredibly consistent and full of flavor with beautiful presentations. But most importantly the service that Lindsay and her support staff provided has made butcher and singer my new go-to spot whenever I’m in town.

Just exceptional. Thank you for such a lovely experience! From arriving and being greeted with kindness, to being seated and having the most lovely service, and the FOOD! My goodness. The food was delicious. This is a MUST visit.
