in the last weekFavorite restaurant in Cincinnati. However they have been increasing prices drastically and reducing the portions. Especially the sliders and tostones (which are my fav items) became VERY small. I hope they will fix this.

in the last weekJuan was our waiter and he was incredible. He organized the tapas to come out in waves so that each tapas complimented each other. We ordered the paella to get it cooking from the start. It was a little too salty for our liking but my entire family finished it regardless when it got there at the end. Definitely get the bread and potatoes so you don't leave hungry (I'm a larger guy myself). Drinks were all 10/10 my family loved each one. For a family of 5 we ordered 1 paella and about 8 or 9 tapas dishes and were satisfied. Don't skip the tres leches cake either.

a week agoMita's is a tapas-style restaurant in Over-the-Rhine that serves a variety of small plates designed to be shared. It is usually not overly crowded, and during off-peak hours there is often little to no wait. The staff are exceptionally polite and take the time to answer questions and offer recommendations about the menu. I would recommend ordering two to three dishes per person, depending on your appetite. During my visit, I tried the Empanadas de Res con Pique, Tostones y Guacamole, Pulpo, and Ceviche del Día. The empanadas did not offer particularly unique flavors, but they were some of the crispiest I have ever had. The tostones, which are crispy fried plantains served with guacamole, were perfectly seasoned and highly enjoyable. The pulpo was the heartiest dish of the four, featuring tender octopus and potatoes in a rich, creamy, and aromatic sauce. The ceviche was an excellent starter, with a bright and tart combination of fresh fish, pineapple, and jicama. The food arrived quickly, and the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the dishes. Overall, Mita's is an outstanding restaurant and a must-try for anyone dining in Cincinnati.

2 weeks agoThe food was excellent, and they could not have been better about my allergies! I have some very unusual allergies, and their attention to detail was incredible. Everything we ordered was delicious! The paella was perfect, and the shishito peppers were so good we had to order more. Dessert was wonderful, and everyone loved their drinks. 10/10 experience!
