6 months agoJoseph and Brook did a wonderful job restoring a pedestal side table that has been in my family for 100 years. It was badly damaged during our last move, with several pieces of veneer chipping off and a foot breaking off. Color matched putty was used to fill in the areas where the veneer was missing (Joseph gave me a choice between veneer or putty, and I chose putty as it was cheaper), and it's very difficult to tell the difference between the original veneer and the putty. I am super happy!

7 months agoJoseph and Brook are great! Roughhousing with my toddler, I broke my wife's late parents' Ottoman (1970s, Norwegian, rare design). In an attempt to fix it, I (of course) made it worse. Reaching out to them, they weren't sure if they could fix it. But man, they did. Fair price for great work. I can highly recommend them!

a year agoJoseph recently repaired and refinished our Bruno Mathsson Maria table, which was discolored and had a large crack. The table looks absolutely beautiful and the crack is fixed. He reinforced all of the joints and the table feels sturdier now. Very happy with the work he did!

2 years agoJoseph did an amazing job on our cherry wood dresser. Wanted to get this family piece refinished and wanted to give it more of a brown/walnut finish and Joseph was able to do it and the whole process start to finish was easy and communication was great. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get items restored or refinished and should we have any more pieces in the future, I will definitely be reaching back out to Joseph in the future.

2 years agoJoseph Budka of Chicago Furniture Restoration did an amazing job of restoring my Art Deco dressers. He even found someone that can re-plate the brass hardware. (Which I will do as soon as I can afford it!) The incredible care Joseph and team displayed during pick up and delivery spoke volumes. I highly recommend Joseph and Chicago Furniture Restoration.
