Just had the most delightful morning stop at DAW. Everything was so fresh and my daughters were entranced by how beautiful the pastries were. But honestly, the real cherry on top was Charles. He was incredibly patient with the children and gave TOP TIER customer service. He helped make the morning special for us.

As a croissant snob, I safely recommend this place. The olive oil croissant infused with rosemary and garlic, and sprinkled with a wee bit of salt, is perhaps the greatest croissant I’ve tried.

Kouign aman was okay. But the Canele's were all stale. I asked if they were fresh, and I was told by the cashier that they are all today's. Hard to believe. The Soho location is much more fresh. Everything felt stale here.
