Joseph doesn’t just give a cut or a trim—he gives you confidence, style, and maybe even a few laughs along the way. Actually, a lot of laughs 😂 I’ve finally found a home here at Edges where we 🌈 all all welcome and have voice! I recently visited Edges Barber Shop, and I cannot recommend it enough! Joseph truly provided the absolute bomb head shave. The combination of hot lather foam and hot towels made for a luxurious experience that I’ve never had before. To top it off, Joseph included an amazing back massage that left me feeling incredibly relaxed. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and professional, making it clear that this is no ordinary barber shop. Decent shop. They were accommodating our last minute back to school hair cut. I specifically asked if they cut all textures of hair and they did a great job! They noticed there were mostly kids so they put on the Lion King. I was taking my friend's son. I think she would go back.

Lashawn's skills are the bomb and the atmosphere reminded me of the '90s when Barbershops were much more chill and social. Definitely returning.

I’ve been living in DC for 12 years now and Edges Barber Shop on U St NW is the worse I have been to. The staff is very unprofessional, they keep you waiting while they play video games, leaving the shop while you’re waiting on them and don’t let you know that they are returning or not. I visited the shop back in 2011 and the service was the same then. I decided to give them a second try today and sadly the staff is still the same with new barbers. I would not recommend them to anyone even if they don’t have an option, I would tell anyone it’s better to do without a haircut than going to Edges Barber shop on U St NW.
