2 weeks agoI have high standards when it comes to beauty services. I was in the beauty business myself for 34 years and owned a high-end full service salon. Now retired, It has not been easy to find dependable technicians for my own beauty needs.. I have been coming to first impression in Belmont for over a few years on a consistent basis and trust Sam over anyone else that has worked with me. She does exceptional work and pays attention to the fine details. She is always on time and I have never felt rushed. Above all, she is a very kind person and makes the experience a relaxing one. She is super gentle. The salon has a great vibe. The owner is constantly updating the decorations for the season and holidays and makes the customers feel welcome when they arrive. All the girls seem to work very nicely together and you can tell there is no gossip going on or negative energy. I highly recommend First Impression in Belmont!

2 weeks agoReally cute nails, and I love how they turned out! I was just a little surprised that cuticle trimming wasn’t included. I think I would have loved them even more if the cuticles had been cleaned up as well, since it would make the overall look feel a bit more polished. Overall, I’m happy with the result and appreciate the work!

2 weeks agoHave been here 2 or 3x now. They’re always busy, always a ton of people in here. They have a lot of colors to choose from but don’t love the selection. I feel like the nail tech was a little rough and doesn’t seem like the nicest but almost considered kicking up the rating to 4 stars after getting a little smile and a tiny hand massage. But want to remember for myself that I didn’t love the place but didn’t hate it either so just right in the middle for me, plus the edges of my nails feel a bit jagged so feel like I need to file a few of them🤦🏽♀️ They did take me as a walk in and the receptionist was friendly ish. A little kindness and slightest bit more gentle on the manicure would have been nice, but all in all wasn’t crazy bad and my nails look ok

2 weeks agoBecause they were overprotective of me and rude to my best friend and messed up my best friend’s nails they made her nails very bad but mines perfect that’s why I give them a 2 they don’t need a five there too rude.
