3 weeks agoFive star airport food is unheard of so I had to check it out based on the reviews. Patties are phenomenal. Real flavor, real spice, crispy flaky outside. Note: I'm not a pattie connoisseur but these are great. Prices as expected for an airport. Service is great. Super clean and friendly. This is definitely going to be my go-to for terminal 8.

a month agoComing out to the Ribbon Cutting for Golden Crust was dynamic. The vibe and energy is high inside terminal 8 at baggage claim carousel 7. The reknown DJ Mr. Dahved Levy is pumping music of reggae flavors. The crowd is full of energy as we congregate just in front of the well known brand. The staff are busy as can be working diligently serving all the patrons who came by to support and those who came by just to be curious. They have drinks such as Sorel, Cucumber, Passionade, and Fruit Punch; natural juices. They also have Pina Colada, mango, and banana strawberry fruit juices as well as teas, coffee water and the most famous assortments of Jamaican Ginger Beer, pineapple, orange, cream, Kola and other delicious drinks. They are offering soup's, saltfish fritters, fried dumplings, plantains, oxtails, curry chicken, curry goat, fried Chicken, macaroni and cheese, barbecue chicken, dumplings, combination of okra dishes and more. We had the opportunity to taste an assortment of cocktail patties such as spinach, chicken, and beef. Jerk chicken, a callaloo and dumpling. They are also open for sales of some of these delicious dishes with a promo when you spend $25. I sampled a fried dumpling with ackee and saltfish, it was pretty tasty and moist. The jerk chicken was very moist with a bold Jerk spice flare. The chicken patty was delicious as well as the festival. The festival looks like a eclair made of cornmeal. Free samples galore for all that came by to support the grand opening. I expect this business to do well in this location. I wish them well.

a month agoHands down the best airport food I’ve ever had. Possibly one of the best soups I’ve had, full stop. A Jamaican man who worked there stopped me on my way out, asked how I was doing, and insisted I take the curried goat soup. I just finished eating it and wow —incredible.
