La Petite Playhouse

I’m really disappointed with our experience today. We visited this indoor playground excited to let our kids play, but were turned away because one of my children could not wear socks due to a documented sensory issue related to autism. I completely understand the importance of sanitation policies, but I was surprised that there was zero flexibility, accommodation, or even willingness to have a conversation about possible alternatives. Sensory challenges are not a choice. Families with neurodivergent children already face many barriers in everyday spaces, and it was heartbreaking to be made to feel like we didn’t belong simply because my child cannot tolerate socks or shoes. I hope this business considers training staff on disability awareness and exploring reasonable accommodations so that all children can safely enjoy their space. Every child deserves access to play.

We had taken our daughter to a few Open Play sessions at La Petite and she liked it so much that she wanted to have her 5th birthday party here. We booked the private birthday party a few months in advance as the slots gets booked up pretty quickly. As expected, my daughter and her friends had an amazing time at the party. Some of her friends' parents who has not been here before were surprised how big the place is and they even told me they would go back/recommend it to other families. Also, the place is very clean for a kids indoor playground. The staff were friendly and provided exceptional service from the time of booking the party slot to cleaning up after the party. They were very helpful in assisting with whatever we needed. The team that we worked with were Danny (Lead), Emily (Assist), Alden and Sarah (Front Desk). They made me and my wife's job as party hosts really easy. Thanks again!
