a week agoMcWay Falls is honestly one of those places that almost feels unreal. The water drops straight from the cliff into this tiny turquoise cove, and the color contrast between the sand, the ocean, and the rocks is just beautiful. It’s one of the few waterfalls in the U.S. that flows directly into the ocean, which makes it even more special. But when I got there the road was closed, not able to access directly to the waterfall 🥲

a week agoBeautiful in Spring with the waterfall running. Too bad everyone has to see it from so far by Highway 1.

a week agoMcWay Falls is absolutely stunning! It's one of the few waterfalls that empty directly into the ocean. The turquoise water and golden sand look like a scene from a dream. You can't hike down to the beach, but the view from the trail is more than enough. A must-stop on your Big Sur road trip! "McWay Falls is one of the most beautiful natural sights you'll ever see! It's one of the few waterfalls that pours directly into the ocean. The turquoise water and golden sand create a scene like a work of art. You can't hike down to the beach, but the view from the top trail is more than enough. A must-see for anyone visiting the Big Sur road."
