My husband, toddler and I enjoyed our first family vacation together and were able to kick it off staying at the Pleasant Bay Village Resort. I wanted to highlight some of the amenities that made it easier for toddlers, which is what we had been looking for. We stayed at the lower cottage and it had backyard access to the playground which was a delightful access point for our almost 2 year old. While I needed to get ready, or my husband was wrapping up work, one of us could pop outside and he’d climb all over the playground and be fully entertained. He enjoyed going down the slides and hanging from the bars. The playground is probably better suited for ages 3/4+ but our 21 month old always likes to go on the bigger kid playscapes anyways so he made due just fine with some assistance. He also fed the koi fish every day, multiples times a day, the koi fish were a big hit! Another fun activity to entertain him outside which is a huge win. There were some pretty walking trails as well which I took him on near the koi pond and he had fun with that as well as others have mentioned the grounds are very pretty with lots of greenery. Upon asking if they had a full sized crib the resort told us they only had a mini sized crib which works for smaller toddlers but ours is in the 90th percentile and we knew he’d sleep better with more room to move around, the very next day while we were trying to decide if we needed to rent a crib or what we could do they called us back and said they had purchased a full sized crib and mattress for our convenience and we wouldn’t have to worry about it. WOW. Amazing! If that doesn’t speak to the level of customer service in itself. Separate from that the staff at the desk provided lots of good recommendations on things to do around the area and were always very friendly and helpful. You can tell they take great pride in their establishment and rightfully so! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Clean room with turn down service. Very nice pool (heated)and hot tub. Ample space with lounge chairs. Shady areas too. Friendly, welcoming staff.
