Lizabeth changed my life! After self-diagnosing with lipedema, she was the first professional to actually validate and acknowledge me with stage 1, and furthermore send me on my treatment journey. She performed manual lymphatic drainage for conservative management and was so caring and knowledgeable in doing so. I have learned so much from her about this disease that is so unfortunately under diagnosed among women. Lizabeth is connected to the absolute best lipedema experts in NYC. She was the first person to recommend surgery (and the best surgeon) to me, and I'm so happy to share that I am on the other side of two lipedema reduction surgeries and now pain free! My joint mobility has improved as well as a laundry list of other health improvements that I didn't even know were connected to lipedema like: clear skin, relieved plantar fasciitis, corrected gait, and better digestion and sleep. Lizabeth has taught me about post operative conservative care like wearing compression garments, applying lotion, and eating anti-inflammatory to maintain the best results throughout my life. My whole life I thought no one had legs like mine, but Lizabeth has hosted lipedema events to bring a community of women together who share a commonality.
