a month agoI’ve gone to this particular location 4 times now. Every time the service is outstanding. They offer beverages. Staff is very friendly. And they take walk-ins. I wish they had later hours a few days a week for the people who work late but still need they hair laid.

a month agoThey say a women’s hair is like your crown…You must always take care of it. First and foremost more let me express give thanks to the employee who answered my call yesterday at 9:58am Sunday 12-22-2025 So this was most definitely impromptu visit to the salon BECAUSE!!…The previous holiday (which was Thanksgiving, my original plan was to take my kid to another location called Nappstar for service on that week Turkey Day week…but due to a couple unfortunate events (after making payments etc etc) it didn’t happen…. But anyways let me get back to this review.. This was an impromptu visit because I immediately was just google searching a salon available on Sunday just a FEW DAYS before Christmas!! Because I had other plans arranged for me and my kid on Sunday. You would think every single LOCTICIAN salon would be super booked or closed on Sunday..but not “The Loc God Salon” in Harlem!. Now everyone listen! Do NOT BE FOOLED! Just because they weren’t overbooked doesn’t mean The Loc God Salon in Harlem doesn’t get any business! ME AND MY KID WAS A WALK IN!!! A WALK IN! MY COMPLIMENTS TO “THE MASTER LOCTICIAN Yayefall Rahim !!!Right BEFORE I PICKED UP MY CHILD I CALLED AND CHECKED ON THEIR SOCIAL MEDIA PAGE AND RHE REVIEWS!! THIS LOCATION IN HARLEM ON THE CORNER OF 119th and LENOX!! OFFER EXTRAORDINARY PROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The DECORATION, THE WORK ETHIC. THIS WAS MY CHILD’s first trip to the Loc Specialist salon, I called an explained the situation…They IMMEDIATELY KNEW AND UNDERSTOOD THAT EVERY GIRL’s HAIR IS THEIR CROWN!! IT DEFINES WHO YOU ARE! I WOULD NEVER LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE! YAYEFALL RAHIM TREATED MY KID WITH RESPECT, TOOK CARE OF OUR HAIR AND GAVE US A CROWN! She was AMAZING !! My kid was enjoying every single second of her service! YAYEFALL was clean, professional and CALM! AS as a dad I had many questions about how to take care of locs afterwards.. Yayefall had THE ANSWER! PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY, CALM AND AMAZING! Do not! DO NOT!! DON’T WALK PAST “ The LOC GOD SALON in HARLEM!! Go see Yayefall IMMEDIATELY SERIOUSLY!! I even purchased some products from them! Please support the locals!
