The New York EDITION

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Edition for a work event, and I was blown away by the hotel's staff hospitality and attention to detail! Special thanks to Sam, the events manager, who helped our group so much! he handled so many last-minute requests, no matter how big or small they were! I loved my stay at The Edition and hope to be back next time I'm in NYC!

Room were small but modern. Service was subpar for a 5 star property - no help with bags at check in or check out into vehicles. System also continuously generated erroneous charges and nontransparent which led to a headache for me to clarify - this included them trying to add charges after check out that were different from what was finalized when I checked out (not room damages, but rather random charges that they argued later weren’t covered by resort credits, breakfast overages, etc).

Gave me a tiny room with tiny windows that looked like an attic.

Excellent location next to Madison Park. I've stayed at this hotel several times. I stayed for three days for the World Cup final. The price per night is far too high compared to its usual rate. The service was very poor. The bar service and especially the breakfast service were terrible—slow and disorganized. I got the impression that the rooms are quite worn. They're minor details, but there are quite a few small damages. The wear and tear is starting to show in the lobby and the rooms.
