The Ravine is a captivating tourist attraction nestled in the heart of New York that offers a rare glimpse of a natural waterfall right within the city. Visitors often find this spot to be a surprising and peaceful retreat, just a short detour from the main walking paths. The soothing sound of rushing water perfectly complements the beautiful woodland scenery, creating an ideal setting for relaxation or creative pursuits like watercolor painting.
Explorers keen on a little adventure will appreciate the challenge of getting closer to the waterfall by carefully navigating over large rocks, where they can find a comfortable stone to sit and take in the tranquil environment. For those willing to venture further, nearby double waterfalls at The Loch Waterfalls add to the area’s natural allure. This serene escape is perfect for anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature without leaving New York City.

3 months agoAlthough it's not the most stunning or beautiful spot in Central Park, you can't help but think that seeing mini waterfalls within an urban park is fantastic. It's located in the more "rural" part of the park, where the hustle and bustle of tourists barely reaches.
