in the last weekWe were really looking forward to our night at The Sicilian Butcher, but unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the hype. The biggest issue was the cleanliness. There were gnats flying around our table and landing near our food, which made it really hard to relax or enjoy the meal. We brought it to our waiter’s attention, and instead of trying to resolve it or offering any kind of solution, he simply said he wished he could do something and left it at that. There was a clear lack of empathy in how the situation was handled—we felt dismissed rather than taken seriously, which made the experience even more frustrating. On top of that, the food itself was underwhelming. It lacked flavor and didn’t stand out in any way, especially considering the atmosphere and expectations. Overall, between the poor response to a clear issue, the lack of basic customer care, and the bland food, the experience fell short. We had high hopes, but it’s not somewhere we’d rush back to.
