They do not care about the surrounding community although they claim to. They blast periodically and the level of noise and vibrations are very intense. One blast in February was so bad that it broke the welds on my fence. My home has extensive damage from the vibrations, drywall cracks, floor spacing, foundation issues, baseboards coming off the wall, etc. When I first contacted the owner he seemed to be very nice and respectful. I asked him to come take a look so he could see what I was experiencing but he cancelled last minute and for a month now has refused to return any phone calls or texts. So here I am on a Sunday repairing damages on my own and out of my pocket so they can continue to make money. As a single mom I’d much rather be spending time with my son today but sure they “Care about their community”. *Updated I have decided to change my review to two stars, solely based on the fact I was able to at least get a response. However, I find it a little concerning that you bring up the list of people which you call before each blast. I am aware of the call list considering I specifically requested to be on it during our last phone conversation. As a business that claims to care about the surrounding community, if that were the case, I would have assumed that request would have not easily been forgotten. I do also appreciate the offer to do seismic testing on my property for the next blast but find the offer to seem a bit unreliable due to the apparent lack of communication. In our area, there are variations in the terrain. Therefore, the damages resulting from waves can vary. There are also different types of homes in the area. I only point this out because it’s unclear to me why other people would need to report damages to you for mine to become valid. Yes, my insurance company sent their engineer to take a look at the damages. Their hypothesis was “settling of the home and insufficient welding”. Seems suspect with all the damages occurring in a timeframe of 45-60 days. Also very unnatural how multiple fence welds decided to spontaneously and simultaneously break apart on the exact date of one of your blasts. But like most homeowners, I get to endure the frustrations of dealing with insurance companies and their aptitude of being able to minimize payouts. I’m also sure you are aware of the time and cost it would take to appeal a denied claim such as this one which makes them a perfect scapegoat for you in this conversation. There could very much be another explanation for these phenomena. All I was asking was to have a open discussion about what has been going on in hopes of finding some answers. But it seems integrity has become quite sparse these days.
