in the last weekCame here about a year ago and drove past today and still can’t get over how terrible this place is when it comes to customer service. And yeah, I’m still pissed off about it. When we walked in, I thought the place was super cute, but it was pretty quiet but wasn’t a big thing. It was like 4 o’clock and we were headed to iron pigs game and just needed a quick bite. They had some sort of pork dish on the menu that contained maple syrup, which I thought would be a little bit, but it turns out that it was just a pork chop that was doused in maple syrup. After a few bites, I told my server that the dish was inedible. She told me that she would talk to the kitchen and see what she could do. The response was, I can take it away and get you something new but you’re gonna have to pay for both. I audibly gasped! They were literally forcing me to pay for something that was completely disgusting Well, slapping me in the face telling me I had to pay for something else to eat. Terrible customer service. Not even a table touch by a Manager. I work at a well known restaurant in Center City Philadelphia, and I would fire a manager if I heard this happened without them touching the table. Instead, it was a game of telephone via the server. I can’t believe it’s been a year and I’m still mad about this but how unacceptable this was. Please, please please train your staff and your management team to deal with these Scenarios because this was completely unacceptable. However, I just assume this is why there’s only two other people in the restaurant. That’s all.
