not a destination but if you want to get out and stretch the legs with the family. all ages, all sizes then this walk is for you. you will hear industrial noise and see large equipment. walkable for anyone.
I enjoy stopping to take pictures or videos. Always ducks and or geese and occasional swans.. only down fall is occasionally a rowdy bunch will be there. Last time I was there there was homeless digging under the gazebo Day time no problems
Accessible trails to explore the ponds and slough. There is a kayak/canoe dock on the Whitaker Slough where you can launch your aquatic exploration. Plenty of wildlife viewing and interpretive panels explaining the importance of the wetlands.
