WORST BOTOX RESULTS EVER ***The owner of the business contacted me on 1-4-26 by email to correct the situation. I requested a $340 refund to cover the corrective Botox I had completed at another business, Bella Skin Institute, to fix the asymmetry and heaviness in my brows. I will never trust Cienega Medical for Botox again. I have not received any response to my email requesting only a partial refund for their $468 Botox services— for which I also tipped $45 — and had to pay another spa $540 to fix! Touch-ups arenormal but results like these are NOT! If this review is still visible, no resolution or further response was ever provided by the owner*** I came here after many years — having moved away — and so much has changed it is hardly the same high-end spa. I was actually shocked as I’m looking to invest and franchise a similar business in the state where I live. The hydrofacial was $100 more without any of the previously included add ons— I politely complained about this to their director and requested a modest $50 refund because on the phone I was told it was their former inclusive version, now the only one they offer. I used to come here for botox and thought I would get some again after 4 year break and having a baby. They surprised me by putting me in a room with very little communication and telling me to wait for the hydrofacialist who was apparently going to finish the missing services. 30-minutes later I popped out of the room baffled, asking what was going on. They explained they had dug up the missing micro current device (that used to be offered in treatments in 2022) from an old drawer and that their director had shared my concern and they were going to offer it. Of course, I thought this was genuinely kind— though timing wise was not ideal. By the time they finished the hydrofacial correction, it was well past 6:00pm and I’d only anticipated the Botox appointment at 5:30pm. Allison, whom I used to see and is very talented with lip injections was quick and spirited, and having trusted them for years in the past, I had no doubts in her ability to help me achieve the results I wanted. She did not mark my face before injecting and I asked about this — and she explained it’s because she usually changes her mind after making the marks. I thought it was a signal of her experience and merrily released all inhibitions. We also discussed not injecting above the brows because I was nervous to have drastic changes after such a gap in treatment. She said confidently, “Actually, many people choose not to inject this area.” So, this area was not injected and I was not explained there would be any risk of heaviness in my brows or pushing down on the brow from the frozen forehead or the asymmetrical muscle pulling from the untreated muscles. Well, my new years was ruined and I ended up canceling a $125 event at a beach front hotel because of the horrible asymmetry in my face and the strange and awful rippling wrinkles. At nearly 3 weeks out my current result is mild ptosis and heaviness in my right eye. I contacted Allison via her instagram where we always used to communicate and did not hear back. It’s disappointing what has happened to such a beloved high-end spa and I’m very unhappy with my treatment. I don’t know that I would ever make a point of going back here — and I used to drive hundreds of miles for services — this final visit I drove over 2,000 miles for Christmas also visiting my family in another part of California. The pictures are embarrassing, but this is what can happen with a lack of information or knowledge I guess with placement. I cannot open my right eye all the way due the paralysis of my forehead. So, irritatingly, this eye and lid is very forced closed and there is nothing I can do to open it. I have had better Botox results at Bella Skin Institute with Anna Guanche.

Excellent care- before, during AND after! I had been getting B-12 vitamin injections at the Santa Monica Location for a little while and really liked their quick appointment availability, comfortable welcoming offices and friendly staff. I decided to try their injectables rather than continue with my Beverly Hills injector- I hadn't been going to her long enough to really be committed. We all love a one stop shop right? Sunday morning I was like... let me go back to work after this holiday looking *ahem* rested and refreshed (wink wink). Sad to say I am a spur of the moment kind of lady so when I reached out to Cienega Medical for a last minute time slot (as I always do) they didn't have anything available for me in SM buuuuut they could fit me in at the WEHO location in about an hour and a half. Sweet! I made my way over and you know how holiday traffic is in LA ~ a total breeze ~ so I arrived way earlier than I thought I would. They were happy to fit me in for an express facial as well! Winning! They were welcoming and pleasant- unlike the week or two wait I was getting used to at my BH clinic and the exasperation they'd give me when I wanted to add a spur of the moment service. (Girl if you don't take this money and fire up these stray chin hairs, come on... I booked a Brazilian how much worse can the chin be? dang) Anyway... My facial with Nicole was lovely and she was careful of my lash extensions but injectables is what we're here to talk about right? Its hard to mess up a facial but needles? Girrrrl I wanna talk about it first. Yasmin was knowledgeable and personable and not only listened to, but clarified my statements about my concerns. She made some recommendations regarding some areas I had been concerned about but I didn't even know there were treatment options for. Sold, ok? The price came back and I was a little shell shocked but hey- I was literally getting double what I had planned for so its not like it was unreasonable. The process was as quick and about as painless/painful as you'd expect injections to be. I'm only two days out but I already see the results coming. All that sounds great right? Well here is the magic of Cienega Medical: Im currently sitting at work bored because we're in the upside down week before the New Year so I was browsing their website and a special caught my eye... A special I was not offered when I was there two days earlier. Now I'm rarely one to complain or haggle on pricing but I was like- wait a minute. Why didn't anybody tell me about that when I was lubricating my credit card with tears? So I bit the bullet and called them to ask why. Honey... their Manager Brittany was like, OH I'm glad you called - that package just started like yesterday! I'll credit your account and you'll get the difference next time you come in, plus I'll throw in a lil extra sumthin sumthin for the trouble. Um ~ What? She was so sweet and forthcoming that I didn't even want the difference back- I had her throw it onto the tip I had left for Yasmin. (I know it was paltry - I'm sorry baby) The whole point of my call was really an exercise in taking my therapist's advice and addressing difficult conversations before they fester into real conflict or repressing my hurt feelings. Nobody wants to feel hoodwinked or taken advantage of and I must say that Cienega Medical Spa is far and above the best MedSpa I have experienced in LA and as a woman pushing 50 who prides herself on looking unquestionably 35 - these ladies are now officially my secret weapon. Special thank you to Nicole, Yasmin and Brittany for making me feel like a person and not just another pain that's paying. I'll be looking forward to seeing you all again! Thank you! This will be a Happy, Healthy New Year Indeed! #35 ~ 4 ~EVA

Sketchy and unprofessional. I booked a last-minute appointment and showed up on time, only to be told there were no nurses available to see me. The girl at the front desk was clearly lying, and when I checked their website later, the other person I spoke with suzi is listed as a registered nurse. You can see her face listed on the website!! Like are you kidding ? It felt dishonest, very mean-girl energy, and it was obvious they didn’t want my business. The whole interaction made me super uncomfortable.

Unprofessional that has no knowledge of medical aesthetics or procedures. For surface maybe however they are not equipped to assist with injections. 1/10 would not recommend
