a week agoWe came to this Mediterranean restaurant because we were craving this type of food and needed a solid hit of protein. We were also charging our car close by. The restaurant has a different sort of vibe. They have installed some cool lighting fixtures over each table, but it also has the sense that some of the restaurant is closed up, in an almost unwelcoming way. For instance, it appears they serve beer and wine, but that area seems closed off. The paint is white and fresh but it almost seems cool or icy. The server was very nice and was a quick take our order. The food was good overall. The meats were seasoned well (beef and chicken shawarma), if on the dry side. The salad was good, and there was value with proportion size. The side sauce that many would expect to be Tzatziki, would find a mayonnaise-based dressing/dip instead. It was not that great. We also had a beef kabob, which was good, and less overcooked than the beef shawarma. The rice looked very good, with slivered almonds and golden raisins, but since I avoid carbs I ordered the salad. We had cardamom tea as a beverage. This was a decent place to eat and they do a decent job. There are many options in this food category, and although it is a good value, but we would not return.
