in the last weekQuite a surprise! I expected it to be just hyped up, but this pizza is amazing. It was 26 degrees outside and there was a long line to get in... a great indicator that it was great pizza. Well it was. I drove an hour, waited in line 30 minutes and very pleased I had. I'll definitely be back.

in the last weekI was traveling to NYC via Metro-North and had a 45-minute stopover in New Haven. Since New Haven's famous pizzas are less than a mile away, I decided to try one for pickup. Sally's Apizza had a 50-minute wait, but Frank Pepe's was ready for pickup in just 25 minutes. It was about a 15-minute walk to pick up the pizza, and I enjoyed a slice during the walk. The taste was incredible, with perfect crust, marinara sauce, and cheese everything was just right. I planned to have a couple of slices and save the rest for home, but I devoured the entire pie on the train in about 20 minutes. It was so delicious that I even considered turning back after 4 stops to get another. Arguably one of the top two pizzas I've ever had, and it truly lived up to the hype. Highly recommend..
