in the last weekWe had an amazing dinner tonight at Irvine Houston’s!! The food amazing and wonderfully delicious. Our server, Taylor, was so so sweet and extremely attentive to anything we needed. We tried the dirty martini with the goat cheese olives, sushi, ribs, spinach dip, and artichoke. Highly recommend everything!

a week agoGood food with great friends makes everything wonderful. Came here because it's my friend's favorite steak restaurant in this area. Overall the meal was good. The smoked salmon was divine and Im still craving it and want to go back for it. Artichoke Spinach dip is a dish that is more of nostalgia for me and it had great flavor because it tasted as if they used little mayo as possible. This dish was excellent but they dont get a 5 stars because there was a piece of plastic in the dish. They did redo the dish for us but not sure if I want to have that again. Their steak was good but my med rare was kinda disappointing but the Hawaiian flavor made it ok. Next time I think I will do just a regular steak and see if they can give me the perfect real medium rare steak. Their service was ok because we had to look for our server several times and wondered if being at the corner made our table less noticeable. I will go back and see if my stars need to change.

a week agoHouston’s is one of the most consistent restaurants in the area, period. It doesn’t change much, and that’s exactly why it works. Menu is tight, execution is strong, and the environment is controlled. Ribs, burgers, and salads are staples and come out the same way every time. Service is efficient and well-trained. They move tables quickly but don’t make you feel rushed. As someone who works locally, this is one of the easiest recommendations when clients want something dependable. Clients ask me about places like this when they don’t want to gamble on a new spot. Parking is easy, location is central, and wait times can build during peak hours. It’s predictable in the best way possible.
