Ironwood

I had an excellent meal here just last night, went out on my own for a 'treat yourself' type night. I got seated fairly quickly, thanks to a very attentive staff member who knew there was an open spot at the bar. I wish I had thought to get her name so I could shout her out. Lovely work. Zac was my server, one of the guys behind the bar, he was just as professional and attentive as you'd expect. Got a Moscow mule to start and some bread to tide me over till my meal was ready. Both were excellent, with the cocktail being one of the better ones I've ever had in Sioux Falls. I got the New York Strip, and added on some fries, again, both were quite good. The fries were an absolute favorite though, the aioli they serve with them is delicious, and the fries were good even after they'd cooled off. The steak was... not the best I've ever had, but still good! A bit more gristle than I'd expected, but not enough to ruin the experience. Lastly, I saw some lemon cake someone else was getting as desert, and against my better judgement, because I was already quite full, I ordered that as well. A word to the wise, the lemon cake portion is MASSIVE. This isn't a bad thing at all, but it left me unable to finish it. Had I been smart, and only eaten half or the like, I would have felt justified in getting a box. Would have loved that for this morning. Anyway, excellent service, very good food, and a lovely atmosphere. I'll be back at some point, absolutely

The food was amazing, the service from Chad our waiter was second to none!

It is 100% worth every penny. The service was excellent and food amazing. The location and our view of the Falls made it a perfect night to celebrate our anniversary.
