This place is a staple of Juneau. I loved it each time I went while living there. The bread, spices, sour cream, especially the dumplings hit the spot. I also liked the dive sort of atmosphere in the shop, clean and not gaudy. Sometimes I dream about this food and can't wait to go back to visit, because this will be on the menu for the trip!

Excellent spot! Pel’meni is a very nostalgic dish for me. I travel frequently and it’s difficult to find decent pel’meni in many parts of the country. This place hit the spot! I took my mom and her friend here while visiting and discovered a crowd pleaser! Quick service, cozy atmosphere; simple food done well. The girl working the front counter was so sweet and welcoming! Protect her and this place at all costs. Highly recommended

We were here back in 2022. Back then, it seemed unreal to encounter something so familiar and so precisely executed on such a remote location. And I still remember that dumpling shop 2.5 years later, because it left such an impression. If you're Slavic and somehow ended up here, it's your duty to stop by.
