in the last weekThe doors were open, so I walked in. The bartender immediately said, “We’re closed,” without mentioning that they would be opening in 15 minutes. I arrived at 3:45 PM. I’m now sitting at the bar, and she explained she’d be back to me at 4:00 PM. The service up to that point was disappointing. I only came to try the happy hour drinks, but the initial customer service was poor. To be fair, a very nice young man eventually came over at 4:03 PM to see if I needed help, and his approach was polite and professional. Unfortunately, the employee I first interacted with was not pleasant and came across with an unnecessary attitude. There were several staff members working, yet no one was attending the bar. If the business doesn’t open until a specific time, the doors shouldn’t be open. Clear communication and basic courtesy matter—especially since you never know who’s going to leave a review.
