a week agoWhat an absolute neighborhood gem - I stumbled upon Sunday C&C this weekend & I am not exaggerating- some of the best pastries in New York City. This place is as good as Radio Bakery - without the crazy line . Staff is friendly, service impeccable, & I even met the owner, Christian - great guy!!! I will be returning regularly & I do not even live that close. This is the kind of spot that makes New York so special. 5 stars.

2 weeks agoSo excited to share about Sunday C&C Bakery’s new location! It cozy & cute & I love the orange vibes 🍊 the exterior signage is also lovely! We got everything vegan: matcha lattes, a yogurt bowl, focaccia sandwich, and morning bun. The morning bun was a delight! Highly recommend and thank goodness it’s one of their vegan pastry options 🏻 the yogurt bowl is made with cocojune yogurt for the vegan option and comes deconstructed (see photo). It was delicious, fresh, and a great portion size! The star of the focaccia sandwich (made with a vegan tofu egg patty) was the tomato jam! It was fabulous! The matcha wasn’t anything to write home about. It was a pretty small glass so I thought the matcha would be strong (bc small amount of oat milk) but it really didn’t have much taste to it, so a bit of a miss but I’ve heard the coffee is fab! They use obscure coffee and if I was a coffee drinker, I’d have more info to share, but alas, I cannot stomach it. Conclusion: lovely spot to grab a bite, great vibes, cool sound setup, get the morning bun and really any of the food and work here if you want! The space is actually quite large and has lots of seating. It also has a toilet for customers 🫶🏻
