Yogurtland Walnut Creek

Obviously if a child drops a carton of yogurt seconds after paying, the business isn’t required to do anything about it. But I’ll be honest, I have *never* seen a business not let a small child just get a new scoop of ice cream, or a new lollipop or new yogurt after they’ve just dropped theirs. I don’t mean like a half eaten food item, I mean, the kid hadn’t even taken a bite yet. The cost to the business is fairly small and the good will from the customer is significant. We had just spent over $50 on yogurt for our whole family. My youngest child drops his carton seconds after we had paid. They had us pay another $7 just to replace it. We paid it. But wow did I find it pretty poor form and will never come back here because of it. Also the strawberries and other fruit here were not fresh at all.

I’ve always loved Yogurtland because their frozen yogurt is delicious, fresh, and feels like a healthier treat. It’s always satisfying, especially on a warm day. However, our experience at this particular location wasn’t great. The staff didn’t seem very welcoming or customer-friendly. Sample cups were not available, and when we asked about them, the response wasn’t very polite or helpful. The pricing also felt unusually high. I’m not sure if the scale is accurate, but the total was much more than we expected, even though we got a pretty normal amount. It was noticeably more expensive compared to previous visits, which made us question whether we were charged correctly. Another issue is the cleanliness — the tables are always sticky, which is not pleasant and gives a careless impression. I really hope the management focuses more on customer service, cleanliness, and pricing transparency, because the product itself is still great — it’s just a shame when the overall experience doesn’t match that quality.
