Imaging Services at Stanford Medicine Outpatient Center in Redwood City

I had arrived early and thought I would have to wait a while before I could go in for my appointment however I was called in early which was great. My tech Alex was wonderful and explained everything that he was going to do and was respectful and gentle.

Extremely disappointing experience with their customer service. They scheduled the appointment, and after the patient went through two days of preparation—including fasting and medication—only informed us on the day of the procedure, at the clinic, that it needed to be rescheduled due to a missing letter. Is it really that difficult to notify the patient ahead of time, especially when dealing with elderly individuals? To make matters worse, they claimed they had called and left a voicemail, yet I never received a single call. Saying the voicemail was full feels like a convenient excuse, not a genuine attempt to communicate. Completely unacceptable.

Too expensive for services rendered and everyone attending to you, while kind, are too young and inexperienced. If paying top rates, you should physically see someone with advanced qualifications, which I did not. Wouldn’t recommend except for to flush wallet and get contrast IV that misses and leaks in your arm.

The technician and the two doctors who performed the Ultrasound were very professional, attentive to my health issues. Thank you all
