a month agoI couldn't wait to try this trail, but it wasn't all I'd hoped it would be. Please note, my hike was on January 1st 2025, it was 34° and there was snow & ice on the ground. I play it safe and didn't get too close to the edges, so my views were limited unfortunately. In addition to being abundantly cautious, there are a lot of fir trees and other types of trees up there which still have a lot of foliage. Add snow on top of the foliage and it really blocks the views. The trail itself was nice, although not marked very well at all. I kept looking for the overlook, but never found it. I lost signal so I couldn't tell how far away I was from the scenic views. I saw lots of tracks in the snow & due to the weather the birds were out en force. I initially parked at the main parking area for the endless wall trail. I was unable to find an opening for a trail other than one that look like it went back to the road. I decided to get back in my car and go back down to the parking area just a football field or so away.
