7 months agoSUN 2025.07.06, ~05:10, we arrived at the Trailhead parking; parked my vehicle, then went for an ~4+ mi CW Loop: neighborhood > Legacy Trail (Hickory Cove Nature Preserve). The trail was in good condition, well-maintained and clean - thank y'all - Land Trust of North Alabama. On the trail, encountered a Jogger, and a Day-Hiker. Both were friendly. Enjoyed the bird singings. Lovely greens and solitude in the woods; occasionally interrupted by moquitoes. The neighborhood was clean and nice, but for some litter along the roadsides and open spaces.
