2 months agoLittle Missouri Falls is an absolute Arkansas gem! This is one of the most beautiful natural spots I’ve visited—crystal-clear turquoise water, layered rock formations, and multiple cascades that look straight out of a postcard. The short hike in was lush and green, with plenty of overlooks where you can hear the rushing water long before you see it. Once you arrive, the views are stunning. The falls create several perfect swimming holes with refreshing, cool water. We saw families playing in the pools, people relaxing on the rocks, and even a gorgeous blue butterfly along the trail. It felt like a peaceful, untouched little oasis tucked into the Ouachita National Forest. The area is easy to explore, and the rocks make great places to sit and take in the scenery. It’s a wonderful spot for photography, picnicking, dipping your feet in, or just enjoying nature at its best. If you’re anywhere near southwest Arkansas, Little Missouri Falls is a must-see. Beautiful, serene, and the kind of place that makes you want to stay all day. Highly recommend! 🌿💧🦋

3 weeks agoBeautiful falls. Short hike. Better to take Albert pike road in - definitely little more narrow on other roads. Gravel roads no matter which direction. Was glad we had smaller SUV with 4wheel drive. Was glad went when it wasn’t busy season. Locals said it gets packed.

2 months agoBeautiful place! The hike was super short and the scenery was just amazing! The water is crystal clear too! Just an FYI, the road to it is gravel and it's very bumpy.

8 months agoBeautiful falls. Definitely not for any kind of disabled or elderly but there's plenty of picnic tables in the parking area bear the stream to enjoy. We hauled 0ur twin 4 year Olds down. It wasn't too terribly difficult. Worth it. Road is not paced but fairly packed down. I could see it be more of an issue if it rained heavy. Bathrooms should not even be there. It's more sanitary to go in the woods.
