8 years agoIt's s a very nice and somewhat strenuous hike. That is going to be a favourite for me now that I've found it. The posted distance back to the north trailhead from Maggie's Glen states 1 mile. It seems more like 1.5 miles. We took the trail to there off of another trail ( red) so it was still a shorter distance back to the trailhead going that way. Beautiful pre-spring, it will probably be more so come spring.

6 years agoA short walk from the north trailhead and a nice 2.5 mile loop on yellow and white. Yellow trail has a bit of change in elevation while the white trail is pretty flat. For a bit of variation and still in a one hour range of walking, I take the very scenic red/yellow connector but have to pay for it by being on red trail for a bit.

8 years agoA very peaceful resting place on your hike. Easy to moderate if you take the yellow trail in. Taking the red trail and then connecting isn’t bad.

8 years agoA rather easy hike, but one of the most peaceful and beautiful places in the whole park. It is a quick (1mile) stroll to Maggie's Glen, but it is sure worth it. If the water is high enough, there is plenty of good fun to be had in the warm months!

8 years agoBeautiful, serene and peaceful! It doesn't take long to hike there from the North Trailhead at Oak Mountain State Park. Everytime my son and I hike there, we always have to stop by Maggie's Glen.
